Spent the morning at Castle Loma and the afternoon at the ROM. (Royal Ontario Museum).

Summer Vacation 2011 the morning of day 6

The morning of day six we visited Casa Loma.  Such a beautiful spot, the mansion has gorgeous rooms with many secret passageways.

 Sir Henry Pellatt's Bedroom

This is a dragon lamp from inside Mr. Pellatt's bedroom that went missing years ago after they lost their home. It turned up a few years ago in the figure-skater Toller Cranston's private collection and I can't remember if he donated it back or they bought it back. Nice story anyways, and it's back where it belongs.

p.s.   I was planning on doing a couple of days in this blog but unfortunately I went a little crazy with the pics and for that reason only got Monday morning done. lol
